In the incident that occured at Vasai Road railway station, a woman slipped on the platform and was almost dragged under the train. A passenger quickly grabbed her as others rushed to the spot to drag the woman to safety.

In a shocking incident, a female passenger was saved by fellow passengers in the nick of time at Mumbai’s Vasai Road Railway Junction. A CCTV footage of the incident was shared on Twitter by news agency ANI that is now going swiftly viral. Many netizens praised the onlookers for being prompt but others highly criticised the woman for trying to board a moving train and risking her life. #WATCH | Maharashtra: Passengers saved a woman from falling under a moving train at Vasai Road Railway Station, yesterday.(Source: CCTV at the railway station) pic.twitter.com/SBvmCWWAeU @AshwiniVaishnaw I'm so glad metro doors close automatically which can't happen here. Can you please consider stricter rule, maybe a fine for trying to get into the moving train? If something goes wrong, Railways will be blamed. Can they install a red bulb at each door which lights up when train is about to depart. Indian trains are long and their engines or signals are not visible from platforms. It's terrible to see these things...people should understand..only time to get off and get in a train are when it stops. Please obey the rules. All doors should be shut before train departure. This is the only solution to avoid people jumping onto moving trains. Not all heroes wear capes Thank God. We hope she is fine.

The recording starts with a shot of a train leaving the station. A few moments into the footage, two women can be seen roaming on the platform. One of them tries to board the train and slips in the process while being dragged under the train. A passenger quickly grabs her as others rush to the spot to drag the woman to safety.
