Who was Virginia Roberts Giuffre, girl allegedly trafficked by Epstein for Andrew?

In 2011, Virginia Roberts Giuffre came out in the open and alleged that, as a teenager, she was groomed, sexually abused, and trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to powerful men — most notably Prince Andrew.
Prince Andrew, younger brother of King Charles III, was arrested in the United Kingdom on Thursday on suspicion of misconduct in public office, according to a BBC report, amid ongoing scrutiny over his links to Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew was once accused by Virginia Roberts Giuffre, an American-Australian advocate for sex trafficking, who was allegedly trafficked to the then Prince’s brother when she was just 17.
Giuffre was one of the most prominent and outspoken accusers of convicted sex offender Epstein and his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell. She alleged that, as a teenager, she was groomed, sexually abused, and trafficked by them to powerful men — most notably Prince Andrew, who has consistently denied her claims.
Born Virginia Roberts on August 9, 1983, in Sacramento, California, Giuffre grew up primarily in Florida.
She described a troubled childhood marked by abuse and instability, saying she had been sexually abused by a family acquaintance at a young age.
As a teenager, she briefly lived on the streets before finding work at Mar-a-Lago, the Palm Beach resort owned by US President Donald Trump. It was there, at age 16, that she said she met Maxwell in 2000.
According to Giuffre, Maxwell recruited her under the guise of training as a massage therapist for Epstein. What began as paid massages quickly turned, she said, into sexual exploitation.
