K-pop singer Aoora offered prayers at a Chennai temple for Mahashivratri, impressing devotees by singing the Shiva Tandav stotram with perfect fluency.
K-pop singer Aoora celebrated Mahashivratri with a deeply personal spiritual moment in Chennai, sharing glimpses of his temple visit with fans on social media. A few days ago, Aoora dropped a post about his new song Shiva Shivam on Instagram.
The 40-year-old artist, born Park Min-jun, visited a Shiva temple in the city on Sunday to offer prayers. Dressed in a traditional white mundu paired with a pastel shirt, Aoora immersed himself fully in the celebrations.
In a heartfelt note on Instagram, he reflected on the experience. “Yesterday in Chennai, I received a blessing I will never forget. I was chanting in a Shiva temple with so many beautiful souls. As someone who was not born in India but chose to love this culture, this moment felt very emotional for me,” he wrote.
