Unites States of Americas: Pakistan mocked for typo in PM's US trip announcement
India Today
The Foreign Ministry's typo-ridden statement on Shehbaz Sharif's US visit drew online ridicule, reviving memories of past digital blunders as the Pakistani Prime Minister attended the Board of Peace meeting in Washington.
Pakistan has landed in fresh international embarrassment after its Ministry of Foreign Affairs released an official statement riddled with more than one glaring typo. The note referred to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's visit to the United States to attend the inaugural session of the Board of Peace from February 18 to 20, a phrasing that raised eyebrows because of its wording.
The headline of the statement read, "Prime Minister's Visit to the Unites States of Americas". The note has 2 glaring typos: 'Unites' instead of United and 'Americas' instead of America.

The Internet was quick enough to spot the errors and mock the nation for its regular social media gaffes.
An X account named 'Pakistan (Civilians)' commented, "Lanat ha tm pr. Another user, named Sourav, said, "Thoda zyada curtain raise ho gaya bro. Unites". Another X profile reacted to the post and wrote, "Center of gravity".
This is not the first time Pakistan has made a social media gaffe. Last year, Shehbaz Sharif, Israel's airstrikes on Iran, a screenshot circulated online claiming he had written "I condom the attack" instead of "I condemn".
