Wajid Khan breathed his last on June 1, 2020, after suffering from a severe infection in the kidney. However, not many know that his sister-in-law, Sajid Khan’s wife, had secretly donated her kidney to him.

Think of Bollywood's most famous music composer duos and the first name that will pop up is that of Sajid Khan and Wajid Khan. Unfortunately, Wajid Khan passed away last year on June 1 due to a severe infection in the kidney, breaking up this duo. In a recent episode of the music reality show, Indian Pro Music League (IPML), Sajid-Wajid's mother Razina and Sajid's wife Lubna appeared as special guests. Sajid Khan is already a part of the show and leads the team Delhi Jammers. During the show, the duo’s mother shared an emotional anecdote of the time the late musician was in dire need of a kidney. And guess who came to his help? His brother’s wife, Lubna. Razina said that they were losing hope as everyone cheated them. No one came forward to help out the family. Sajid said, “At that time, none of our family members tried to help us. We had money, name, fame, and we went to the best doctors, but we couldn't get the right match for the kidney. People took money from me saying I will donate my kidney and then they just disappeared. I used to wait at the airport for hours for people to come, but they'd never turn up. I had never felt so helpless in my life.”
