
Water level in Papanasam dam stands at 74.90 feet

Current water levels in Papanasam and Manimuthar Dams with inflow and discharge rates provided.
The water level in Papanasam Dam on Monday stood at 74.90 feet (maximum level 143 feet). The dam had an inflow of 456.42 cusecs of water and a discharge of 204.75 cusecs. The level in Manimuthar Dam stood at 83.32 feet (maximum level 118 feet). The dam had an inflow of 72.77 cusecs and a discharge of 245 cusecs.

The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday ordered the issue of a notice to the State government on a PIL petition, which had complained about disturbances caused to people residing in the localities around the National Public School situated in Rajajinagar 5th block due to use of loudspeakers with high volume in the school and parking of school buses in residential areas.
