Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stood at 113.90 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 100 cusecs and a discharge of 100 cusecs. The level in Vaigai dam was 56.14 ft. (71 ft.) with nil inflow and a discharge of 72 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 2,041.05 mcft. Thekkadi recorded 15 mm, Gudalur 5.4 mm and Shanmuganadhi dam 0.8 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Thursday.
