China has stepped up military operations in regions around Taiwan and choppers were seen flying past Pingtan island, a region close to Taiwan.
Chinese military choppers were seen flying past Pingtan island, a region in Fujian province close to Taiwan.
Angered by US official Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan, which China claims as its own, Beijing has stepped up military exercises in regions around Taiwan.
It has also deployed two aircraft carriers to the north and south of Taiwan.

China's aircraft carrier Shandong (CV-17) left the naval base of Sanya on the day of Pelosi's visit, and Liaoning-001 also raised anchor from the home base in Qingdao.
