The State government has decided to prioritise vaccination of women who have children younger than five years of age, in view of the likelihood of a third COVID-19 wave sweeping the country within the next few months. Health, Medical and Family Welfare Principal Secretary Anil Kumar Singhal said in a press conference that there are over 20 lakh mothers in the said category across the State, and they will be allowed to get vaccinated alongside people in the age group of 45+ for whom the vaccine is currently available in the State.More Related News
