An American woman celebrated her 96th birthday with a fun and laid-back get-ready-with-me video, showing her bold personality and party spirit, leaving the internet smiling and applauding her energy.

An American woman shared a video of her getting ready to celebrate her 96th birthday, and the internet can’t stop smiling at her unapologetic energy.

Grandma Droniak, who encourages people to consider her their grandma and has over 3.7 million followers, shared the video on her Instagram account as she invited viewers to get ready with her for the big day.

In the video, she greeted the camera with ease, setting the tone right away: “Get ready with me, it's my birthday. Today I am 96. I feel like 26.” There’s no pause for disbelief as she leaned into it, laughing, adding, “I can't believe I'm still alive.”

The video then turned into what felt less like a routine and more like a personality unfolding on screen. As she continued getting ready, she casually dropped, “I'm throwing a party tonight. I even invited my ex. I want the drama. I might black out. Who knows?” The delivery was completely deadpan, making it even more amusing.

It was still early in the day, but she was already in full party mode. “It's only 11 am. I invited everyone,” she said, before turning to show off her outfit. She switched into a striking purple dress, pairing it with a tiara and a birthday sash, fully embracing the occasion.

Between lines, she did her hair, applied makeup, and checked herself in the mirror, clearly enjoying every part of the process. When she finally presented the full look, she asked with a grin, “Do I look 96? No.” And just before wrapping up, she raises a glass and adds, “Straight vodka. Cheers to me.”
