Twinkle Khanna, who made her acting debut with Barsaat in 1995, starred in many films before leaving showbiz behind and becoming an author. Recently, she recalled an incident where her film’s director asked her if she would 'do a Mandakini' during a rain song sequence. Mandakini garnered instant fame after she danced under a waterfall in a white saree in her debut film, Ram Teri Ganga Maili. It was directed by Raj Kapoor.
