Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina caught the attention of netizens for a rather funny comment during a speech. While addressing the sudden hike in prices of essential commodities during a Parliament session, Hasina said, “You can use other vegetables that are readily available to cook Beguni. We do so. For those who are unaware, Beguni is a kind of fritter made from brinjals or eggplant and is a common snack in Bangladesh and West Bengal.
