CRED came out with their latest advertisement featuring former India coach Ravi Shastri in a brand new avatar and the internet cannot keep calm.
Fintech company Cred is known for their creative advertisements that go viral in no time. From the Rahul Dravid ‘Indiranagar Ka Gunda’ ad to the ‘Antakshari’ one filled with nostalgia, we have witnessed absolutely mindblowing ways the company adopts for promotions. And now, another one of their advertisements has taken the internet by storm and it features the one and the only Ravi Shastri.
Cred released an advertisement featuring Ravi Shastri in an unexpected form. The former India coach can be seen in a never-seen-before snazzy avatar. The viral video begins with the 59-year-old recreating hit film’s Chak De! India’s famous “70-minute” dialogue with a hilarious twist.
He is also heard asking for “2 cough syrups on the rocks” at a pharmacy. In another scene, he can be seen talking to a girl at a party. “I used to be a batsman, but for you, I can be a keeper,” said Ravi to the girl. Yes, you read that right.
In the clip, his witty reply to a journalist at a press conference also grabbed a lot of attention.
“Don't remember any of this,” Shastri wrote in the caption while sharing the ad on Twitter.
