A 1956 advertisement for a refrigerator has gone crazy viral. The 66-year-old fridge boasted of a plethora of compartments, roll-over shelves and an ice-cube ejector.
Technology is bound to get more and more advanced through passing time and there are a lot of instances to prove that. For now, let's take the example of a refrigerator. The appliance which has now become a necessity has gone through a lot of developments. From double doors to an instant ice maker, fridges nowadays have become super advanced. However, the internet cannot keep calm after an advertisement for a Frigidaire from 1956 went crazy viral online. Why, you ask? Well, read on to find out further.
The now-viral video was shared on Twitter by a page called Lost in History. The black-and-white advertisement featured in the clip was for a fridge. Well, the appliance boasted of a plethora of compartments on the door for bottles, cheese and even butter. There was a detachable compartment for fruits and vegetables. That's not all. The shelves of the fridge can be rolled over all the way to the front and it also features an ice-cube ejector. Yes, you read that right.
