She was also spotted giggling and laughing as she handed over Cheetos to the monkeys. “Stupid and lucky,” zoo director Joe Montisano told Newsweek after the incident. Zookeeper Mason Kleist told ABC7, "These are primates we're talking about. They could do some substantial damage to you. They may be small monkeys, but they can take you to the ground if they wanted to.”
