Telangana government's Gulf Bharosa scheme provides financial aid to families of workers who died in Gulf, highlighted in documentary released by Chief Minister
A poster and documentary prepared by Pravasi Mitra Sanstha on the Telangana government’s Gulf Bharosa scheme to the families of migrant workers who died in Gulf countries, was released by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Hyderabad on Saturday (March 29, 2025).
The documentary highlights the government’s initiative to provide financial help to the workers’ families countries and their social security. The government is providing ₹5 lakh each to the families of workers from Telangana who passed away in the Gulf due to various reasons. So far more than ₹13 crore were provided to the affected families.
Telangana Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Eeravatri Anil, Pravasi Mitra representatives Manda Bheem Reddy, P. Sunil Kumar Reddy, Chennamaneni Srinivasa Rao, P.L. K. Reddy were among present.
