Tanuj Garg recalls meeting Lata Mangeshkar at her Lord's apartment, says she was soft-spoken

Lata Mangeshkar is no more but she will continue to live on in our hearts. The legendary singer passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. She was cremated with full state honours at Shivaji Park, Mumbai. A day after her demise, IndiaToday.in exclusively spoke to producer Tanuj Garg. In conversation with IndiaToday.in, Tanuj recalled his meeting with the legendary singer at her apartment close to the Lord's stadium in London.

Taking a trip down memory lane, Tanuj Garg opened up about his meeting with the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. The producer said that he was lucky enough to meet the singer at her apartment close to the Lord's stadium in London.

"We had some great moments together. On one of the occasions, she went for a television interview with one of the channels and I was lucky enough to have accompanied her and be with her throughout the course of the interview. I have had a couple of memorable interactions with Didi. She was very fond of me, very loving and endearing. I wish I had interacted with her much more than I did. I wish I had spent much more time with her. With whatever moments I have had with her and the times I have spent with her, it will be truly priceless. And I will cherish those for the rest of my life," said Tanuj.

Besides meeting Lata Mangeshkar at her London apartment, Tanuj even had the privilege to meet the legendary singer at her Peddar Road house.
