Ranveer Singh is earning praise for performing a difficult underwater scene without a body double in Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The film has also opened strongly at the box office, earning over Rs 240 crore worldwide.
Ranveer Singh is drawing widespread praise after a behind-the-scenes video from Dhurandhar: The Revenge surfaced online, showing him performing a demanding underwater sequence without a body double.
The actor, who is currently being lauded for his performance in the film, appears in the clip preparing for the scene before submerging himself underwater and holding his position as the camera captures the shot. The sequence is part of his character Jaskirat Singh Rangi’s training as a spy, which includes practising breath control for covert operations.

The video has triggered strong reactions on social media, with several users praising Singh’s dedication. One comment read, “Unreal dedication tha bhai ka for Dhurandhar.” Another wrote, “Mehnat to kari hi hai.” A third user noted, “In times of heavy VFX, this level of effort is refreshing.”
Some fans also called his performance award-worthy, with one stating that it would be disappointing if he does not win a National Award for the role.
