Actor Udaybir Sandhu is gaining attention for his role in Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar. He plays Gurbaaz Singh, also known as Pinda, who is the childhood friend of Ranveer Singh’s character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi.
In the film, their friendship takes a shocking turn after the duo reunites years later in Lyari. One of Udaybir’s dialogues, "Ghar ki yaad nahi aayi tujhe Jassi? (Didn't you miss home, Jassi?)", has resonated with audiences.
Amid the excitement around Dhurandhar 2, the curiosity around Udaybir has only increased. Here's everything you need to know about the actor.
Before acting, Udaybir was a national-level hockey player for Punjab. His sports background helped him land his first role in Akshay Kumar’s Gold, where he also coached co-actors for hockey scenes.
He later appeared as Jatinder Jinda in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila, headlined by Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra. He also acted alongside Shehnaaz Gill in Ikk Kudi, playing Jagveer Sandhu. Instagram/@udaybir_sandhu
Besides acting and sports, Udaybir has modelled in India and South Africa. He has around 56.7K followers on Instagram.

Aditya Dhar doesn't make it easy to watch Dhurandhar: The Revenge. He lets you experience the discomfort, the silence that haunts and the screams that linger longer than you want. But at the centre of it all is India's clear policy: anti-terror, not anti-Pakistan. Consider this your spoiler warning.
