Taliban release TTP's Maulvi Faqir Mohammad, other terrorists from Afghanistan prisons

The Taliban have released at least 2,300 terrorists, including several top commanders of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) like Maulvi Faqir Mohammad.

Days after coming into power, the Taliban have released at least 2,300 terrorists from different prisons in Afghanistan. These include several top commanders of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), al-Qaeda and Islamic State. Among the released is Maulvi Faqir Mohammad, the former deputy chief of TTP which is an anti-Pakistan terrorist organisation. His release could pose a threat to both Afghanistan and Pakistan.
