The Delhi High Court has issued notices based on a petition filed by Sushant Singh Rajput's father, seeking a ban on the release of any movie on the late actor's life.
On Tuesday, April 20, the Delhi High Court issued summons to the makers of a biopic on late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's life. The Delhi HC was ruling on a petition filed by Sushant Singh Rajput's father, Krishna Kishore Singh, who sought a ban on the film stating that people were trying to use the actor's death for their benefit. Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh filed a petition stating that people are using his son's death as an "opportunity to get fame by developing different theories/stories, at the cost of his and his family’s reputation". The petition referred to films like Nyay: The Justice, Suicide or Murder: A Star Was Lost and Shashank. KK Singh also added in his petition that none of the filmmakers associated with these projects took his consent before going ahead with the projects. He further sought an injunction against any other films, publications, caricatures, etc based on the actor's life.More Related News
