Only 10% of active cases are hospitalised
Kerala reported 6,664 new cases of COVID-19 when 61,202 samples were tested in the 24 hours.
The State’s active case pool had 74,735 patients on Monday, with 9,010 persons reported to have recovered from the disease on the day.
According to the Health Department, only 10% of the active cases are currently admitted in hospitals or field hospitals like COVID-19 first-line/second-line treatment centres.

The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday ordered the issue of a notice to the State government on a PIL petition, which had complained about disturbances caused to people residing in the localities around the National Public School situated in Rajajinagar 5th block due to use of loudspeakers with high volume in the school and parking of school buses in residential areas.
