SNR Sons Charitable Trust celebrated Founder’s Day, honoring its legacy in healthcare and education with inspiring speeches and awards.
SNR Sons Charitable Trust celebrated its founder’s day on Friday at the S.N.R. Auditorium with A. Velumani, founder of Thyrocare and creator of AVM Labs and AVM Smiles as the chief guest and wherein he highlighted perseverance, discipline, financial prudence, and the importance of dreaming with determination.
Dr. Velumani also appreciated the Trust’s long-standing contribution to healthcare and education, stating that institutions rooted in values and service create lasting impact beyond generations. He emphasised that sustainable growth is possible only when institutions remain anchored in ethics and societal responsibility.
Founded in 1970 by the late S. N. Rangasamy Naidu, the Trust was established with a noble mission—to uplift society through quality education and accessible healthcare. What began as a visionary initiative rooted in service has today grown into a network of 18 esteemed institutions encompassing medical, educational, and allied establishments. Over the decades, the Trust has become a pillar of social development in the region, impacting thousands of lives through its commitment to excellence, compassion, and integrity.
The programme was presided over by R. Sundar, Managing Trustee of the Trust, who delivered the welcome address. A highlight of the celebration was the felicitation ceremony honouring 30 individuals who have completed 25 years of dedicated service across Sri Ramakrishna Hospital and the educational institutions under the Trust.
B. L. Shivakumar, Principal of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, expressed sincere appreciation to the Trust for making the Founder’s Day celebration a memorable and meaningful event.
