
MoU seeks to improve planning in suburban, rural areas of Tamil Nadu

MoU signed to enhance planning and management in Tamil Nadu's suburban and rural areas, fostering sustainable development.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Tamil Nadu State Land Use Research Board (TNSLURB), under the State Planning Commission, and the World Resource Institute (India) (WRI) to improve the planning and management of the rapidly growing rural and suburban areas in Tamil Nadu. It was signed at the inauguration of the Tamil Nadu Policy and Governance Experiential Learning Centre (TNPAGE) in Chennai. Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, M.P. Dayanidhi Maran, Thousand Lights MLA N. Ezhilan, State Planning Commission Vice Chairman J. Jayaranjan, and others were present.
