Shraddha Kapoor, Isabelle Kaif and three other actresses turned down the opportunity to act in SS Rajamouli's RRR. The film, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, is now on a record-breaking spree.
Being a part of SS Rajamouli's films is one of the greatest gifts that an actor can get. His latest release, RRR, which was mounted on a massive scale, saw actors and actresses representing different film industries. From Indian actors including Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn to foreign actors Ray Stevenson, Olivia Morris and Alison Doody, the star-studded cast made the film special. However, a few actresses who got the opportunity to be part of RRR rejected the film for different reasons.
Shraddha Kapoor, Isabelle Kaif and three other actresses turned down the opportunity to be part of the blockbuster film. In this piece, let us see why these actresses said no to SS Rajamouli.
Initially, Shraddha Kapoor was approached by the RRR team to play an important role in the film. If reports are believed to be true, Shraddha was considered to pair opposite Jr NTR in the film. Due to her busy schedule, she couldn't allot dates for SS Rajamouli's RRR.
Katrina Kaif's sister Isabelle Kaif was offered a role in RRR. However, the actress turned down the offer for a reason. An insider told IndiaToday.in, "Isabelle Kaif was offered the role of the foreigner, who is seen as Jr NTR's love interest in the film. The actress refused to do the film because she wanted the script and details of the movie."
Later, the makers of RRR roped in Olivia Morris to play the role.
Before Olivia Morris, the makers had roped in Daisy Edgar Jones to play a foreigner and Jr NTR's pair in RRR. However, the actress backed out of the project due to multiple delays. In her Instagram note, Daisy revealed that she had to turn down the film due to 'unavoidable reasons.'
Her message read, "RRR: Unfortunately, due to my family circumstances. I am unable to participate in filming for this wonderful film. The script is truly brilliant and it's such a great character, I hope whoever they cast receives as warm a welcome as I have and I wish the production all the best (sic)."
