Second evacuation flight carrying Indian students from war-torn Iran lands in Delhi. Students share horrific stories of hiding in basements.
A second group of Indian students stranded in Iran due to the ongoing war reached New Delhi late on Monday night. The flight carried dozens of stranded Indians and flew from Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, to New Delhi with a stop in Dubai.
However, the journey was far from smooth. The flight was delayed by nearly 12 hours in Dubai after the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) temporarily suspended flight operations as a safety measure following a drone attack at the airport.
Many students described their terrifying experience in Iran. Labeeb Qadri, a 23-year-old MBBS student from Kashmir studying at Urmia University, shared his experience.
