AAP MP Raghav Chadha was removed from Rajya Sabha's deputy leader and replaced by Ashok Mittal. This move by the Arvind Kejriwal-led party has sparked controversy.
The controversy over dropping Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha from the Rajya Sabha post and replacing him with Ashok Mittal is now turning into a war of words among members of the Arvind Kejriwal-led party. Raghav Chadha took to social media platform X on Friday and raised questions over the decision of his removal and asked whether speaking on public issues in Parliament had become a “crime”.
In the video message, Chadha said he has always used his time in Parliament to highlight concerns that affect ordinary people. However, he questioned why the party has now asked the Rajya Sabha Secretariat to stop him from speaking.
