Chadha said he has always used his time in Parliament to highlight concerns that affect ordinary people.
AAP MP Raghav Chadha on Friday broke his silence after being removed as the party’s deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha, raising questions over the decision and asking whether speaking on public issues in Parliament had become a “crime.”
In a video message shared on social media platform X, Chadha said he has always used his time in Parliament to highlight concerns that affect ordinary people. However, he questioned why the party has now asked the Rajya Sabha Secretariat to stop him from speaking.
In the video clip, Chadha asked if he had done something wrong by raising issues related to the public. “Whenever I get the chance to speak in Parliament, I raise the public’s issues. But is it a crime or a mistake to do so?” he said.
