Salman Khan tells Sara Ali Khan that she lost the chance to be his heroine after she called him 'uncle'. The duo were interacting at IIFA Awards.

Salman Khan and Sara Ali Khan engaged in a chat at IIFA Awards 2022. A short clip of their banter was shared on social media by Colors TV where Salman is seen pulling Sara's leg. The 56-year-old actor is 30 years older than Sara.

In the promo, Sara Ali Khan asks Salman Khan to help her by endorsing a few brands. She says, "Actually kya hai na, main kuch brands launch karne jaa rahi hoon, Salman uncle ke saath (I am going to launch a few brands with Salman uncle)."

To which the Jai Ho actor replies, "Dekho aapki picture gayi. (You film is gone)

When Sara asks why, he says, "Aap obviously mere saath heroine aa sakti thi lekin sabke saamne aapne mujhe uncle bulaya (You could have starred opposite me but now you have lost the chance as you called me unlce in front of everyone)."

Sara, who is visibly embarrassed, says, "Aapne bola uncle bulao (But you asked me to call you uncle)."

Take a look at the video:

At IIFA 2022, Salman shared many anecdotes from the days gone by. He spoke about how he once wanted a stone wash jeans, boots, and a purse from Suniel Shetty's shop Mischief. However, Salman could not afford it. Suniel then went ahead and gifted it to Salman. Speaking about the same, Salman said, "When I didn’t have any money, actor Suniel Shetty had a shop called Mischief and I was eyeing a pair of stone wash jeans, boots, and a purse. I knew I couldn’t afford it because I didn’t have money. But Anna saw my eyes and decided to gift me what I yearned."
