Samantha took to Instagram to share a heartwarming note for her friend, Nandini Reddy, on her birthday (March 4). The actress recalled the time she felt so low that she was reluctant to go to work and Nandini helped her out.
Samantha made her friend and filmmaker Nandini Reddy feel special on her birthday today, March 4. The actress shared some lovely pictures and dedicated a sweet note to her. Recalling the time her ‘confidence was at an all time low’, she thanked Nandini for having her back.
Samantha recently completed 12 years in the film industry. However, her journey has had its ups and downs. Recalling the tough times, she thanked Nandini Reddy for sticking by her on her birthday. Samantha wrote, “Happy birthday my dearest friend, @nandureddyy! Your innate goodness is your greatness. You inspire me (sic)!”
She continued, “I remember it like it was yesterday, the year was 2012, and I was not keeping well and my self confidence was at an all time low. I was reluctant to go back to work. You came every day to check in on me, took the time out of your packed schedule and planned a test shoot with me to give me my confidence back. I will never forget how I got back to work the very next day. And this is me recounting just ONE of the many times you have had my back. From seeing me at my highest highs to my lowest lows, you’ve been my ride or die! You inspire me to be a better friend everyday. Thank you for believing in me and for always keeping it! Here’s wishing you nothing but the very best in the coming year (sic)!”
Samantha will be seen next in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Directed by Vignesh Shivan, the romantic comedy also stars Vijay Sethupathi. Besides this, Samantha is currently waiting for the release of Gunasekar's Shaakuntalam. The actress has also signed her first foreign film, Arrangements of Love, in which she will play the role of a bisexual Indian woman.
