Russia-Ukraine war news latest updates: According to the Ukrainian Parliament, a team of investigators from the International Criminal Court in The Hague is heading towards Ukraine to investigate a collective international lawsuit against Russia over its war crimes.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands, is sending a team of investigators to Ukraine. Their team will investigate a collective international lawsuit that has been filed against Russia for war crimes committed in the ongoing fight with Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Parliament confirmed that the team of investigators from the ICC are on their way to Ukraine to begin their probe.

On Thursday, The ICC began probing possible war crimes committed by Russian soldiers and the government while invading Ukraine.
Belarusian media outlet Nexta said on Twitter, "Tribunal [ICC] in The Hague [headquarters in The Netherlands] launched an investigation into possible #Russian war crimes."
One million refugees have fled Ukraine since the Russian invasion began, said the UN refugee agency. According to UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), this number amounts to more than two per cent of Ukraine's population. The World Bank put Ukraine’s population at 44 million at the end of 2020.
The UN body has predicted that up to 4 million people could eventually leave the country.
