Rajkummar Rao looks intense in first look from HIT- The First Case. See here

Rajkummar Rao recently shared his first look from the upcoming thriller, HIT - The First Case. The film will release on July 15.

Rajkummar Rao will be seen next in the Hindi remake of Telugu cop drama HIT. The film tells the story of a cop who is on the trail of a missing woman. Sanya Malhotra plays the female lead in the film. HIT stands for Homicide Intervention Team. Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma played lead roles in the Telugu film. The first look poster of Rajkummar from the film has now been unveiled. HIT - The First Case will release on July 15.

The first glimpse of Vikram, Rajkummar Rao's character from HIT - The First Case, shows him in an intense avatar. He is seen sporting a neatly trimmed beard and earrings on both ears. He gives an intense look in the poster. Rajummar's Vikram is a cop. Sharing the poster, Rajkummar wrote, “Unravelling the first mystery. Hitting the theatres on 15th July 2022! HIT - The First Case #HITGlimpseOfVikram out on 14th June (sic) .”

Rajkummar Rao is excited for his new project. Earlier, in a statement, the actor talked about being a part of HIT. He had said, "When I saw HIT, I instantly connected with it. It's an engaging story, relevant in today's environment. As an actor I am always on the look out to play characters I haven’t explored and HIT gives me a chance to do that. I'm looking forward to take this journey with Sailesh and Dil Raju."

HIT - The First Case is the remake of the 2020 Telugu hit of the same. The film is directed by Dr Sailesh Kolanu, who had also helmed the original. The Telugu film HIT starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in lead roles. The film follows a cop who is tracing a missing woman. The Hindi version is bankrolled by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar and Kuldeep Rathore. As HIT is a massive investigative franchise down South, the makers are planning to give the Hindi remake a similar spin on a larger canvas. In the Hindi remake, Rajkummar Rao will be seen in the lead role of the policeman.
