You have seen him being ‘The Wall’ on the cricket field, you have also seen his other side as ‘Indiranagar Ka Gunda’. Now former India cricketer Rahul Dravid has won hearts with his humble nature during a book event in Bengaluru. Snippets of Dravid’s calm and down-to-earth behavior during the event were shared on Twitter by a user named Kashy and it will make you become fond of the cricketer once again.

According to the post, Dravid was spotted at an event in a Bangalore bookstore where former cricketer GR Viswanath was present to talk about his new book titled Wrist Assured. During the event, Dravid arrived at the venue wearing a mask and quietly sat in the back.

“He walked in alone with a mask on, greeted Ram Guha, which is when me and Sameer realized it was indeed Rahul Dravid, he happily sat in the last row without any fuss so much so that the girl sitting next to him didn't even realised who she was sitting with,” read a part of the Twitter thread.

He walked in alone with a mask on, greeted Ram Guha which is when me and Sameer realized it was indeed Rahul Dravid, he happily sat in the last row without any fuss so much so that the girl sitting next to him didn't even realized who she was sitting with.

After he was spotted by Viswanath, Dravid reluctantly came to the front to greet the people and even signed autographs. “He said sorry when he couldn't get his autograph right because people wouldn't let him stand properly!” Kashy added.

Moments later, Dravid made sure to let Viswanath be the centre of attention at the event as well.

He finally told people to talk to GRV instead of talking to him because it was an event to celebrate GRV! How can a person who has lead Indian cricket team to so many glories be so humble and down to earth! pic.twitter.com/03KSFlnPn6
