Puneeth Rajkumar was one of 14 people at my wedding, Danish Sait remembers 'older brother'

In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Danish Sait revealed that Puneeth Rajkumar was one of the 14 people who attended his intimate wedding. He also spoke about his "friend, mentor, and older brother" Puneeth Rajkumar.

October 29 was the unfateful day when Puneeth Rajkumar passed away. His untimely demise left the entire nation in shock. The actor passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest while working out. He was 46. A few months after his demise, actor Danish Sait recalled fond memories of the late actor. In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Danish revealed Puneeth Rajkumar was one of the 14 people who attended his wedding.

Remembering the late Puneeth Rajkumar, Danish Sait told IndiaToday.in, "I have several fond memories of him. The production aspect - him being a producer and me being a talent - was a tiny part of our relationship. He was a friend, mentor, he was an older brother, a role model and a champion human being. And I had several moments with him. I am glad that I knew him so closely. There are many incidents and memories, but these are the things that you cherish yourself."

Revealing how close Puneeth Rajkumar was to him, the actor went on to add, "To give you an idea, there were 14 people at my wedding and he was one of them. So that's the closeness that we shared. And I would just leave it at that. Because some things are so personal, that you celebrate the individual and think very fondly of the individual within the confines of your own home. All I can tell you is that he was a wonderful human being and very grateful to him. And I miss him every single day."

For the unaware, Puneeth Rajkumar was one of the producers of Danish Sait's latest web project, One Cut Two Cut, which was released on February 3, 2022.
