Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Nagpur, acknowledging the role of RSS in BJP's election victory.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Nagpur, the seat of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), because the BJP has understood that it won the Lok Sabha election because of the RSS, said Maharashtra Congress MLA Vijay Wadettiwar on Saturday (March 29, 2025), a day before Mr. Modi’s visit.
“After 12 years, PM Modi is visiting there [RSS headquarters]. I think that the BJP must have understood that they won the elections because of RSS. The RSS claims that the BJP won elections because of them, and I think this is true,” said Mr. Wadettiwar.
He further said that the new BJP programme to distribute Saugat-e-Modi kits (during Eid, Baisakhi and Easter) across the country reflected a change in the ideology of the RSS. “For 100 years, they used to talk about division, and now I hope they talk about going ahead together,” he said.
Mr. Modi is set to visit Nagpur on Sunday to visit four places, including Smruti Mandir, dedicated to RSS founder-leaders K.B. Hedgewar and M.S. Golwalkar. He will then visit Deekshabhoomi, a Navayana Buddhist monument where B.R. Ambedkar embraced Buddhism with about four lakh Dalits.
After that, Mr. Modi will lay the foundation stone of Madhav Netralaya Premium Centre in Nagpur and address a public meeting there. He will then inaugurate the Loitering Munition Testing Range and Runway facility for UAVs at Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited in Nagpur.

And then nature intervened, and the fatal accidents stopped. An invasive, floating weed that is a bane of water sources everywhere, the water hyacinth is not just tolerated in the quarry but welcomed
