A video of a group of scientists cooking hot dogs on molten lava from volcano in Iceland has gone viral.
A volcano, situated about 40 km away from the Iceland capital Reykjavik, has been erupting near the Fagradalsfjall mountain. The eruption is happening for the first time in hundreds of years which in turn has intrigued people. Scientists studying the eruption in the region have been marvelling at the rare sight of lava streaming down the mountainous region by also cooking on it. Yes, you read that correctly. News agency Reuters shared a video of a group of scientists cooking hot dog and buns in the hot lava. Scientists gathered at the foot of the volcano in Iceland and used its lava as a giant grill to cook sausages as they studied the eruption. The video, which has garnered 58k views on YouTube, was titled 'Iceland volcano offers chance to savour hot lava dogs'.More Related News
