Palaniswami once again raises questions about T.N. CM Stalin’s New Delhi visit
AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Monday (May 26, 2025) wondered whether Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s visit to New Delhi to attend the NITI Aayog Genecral Council meeting was meant for securing funds for the State or for the benefit of a member of Mr. Stalin’s family.
In a post on his social media handle, Mr. Palaniswami ridiculed Mr. Stalin for seeking to promote the outcome of the visit as though he had obtained several thousands of crores of rupees for the State. He contended that the real purpose of the visit, which was to “shield” certain other purposes, had not fructified.
The AIADMK leader said he had not been afraid of any raid and there was no link between him and the latest round of searches. As for some of the relatives named by the Chief Minister, Mr. Palaniswami claimed that they had been in business before they became related to him and witnessed two rounds of raids.
