
Palace entry to cost more as Board revises ticket fare

After Mysuru zoo, the entry ticket to the palace, the city’s most visited tourist destination, will cost more.
The ticket price has been hiked from ₹70 to ₹100 for adults while the ticket for children accompanying visitors has been hiked from ₹30 to ₹50. However, for schoolchildren coming in groups, the fare has been hiked to ₹30 from ₹20.
Nearly ₹ 20 in the ticket goes towards the GST, the palace board said.

The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday ordered the issue of a notice to the State government on a PIL petition, which had complained about disturbances caused to people residing in the localities around the National Public School situated in Rajajinagar 5th block due to use of loudspeakers with high volume in the school and parking of school buses in residential areas.
