Nepal, which is currently witnessing more than 9,000 new Covid-19 cases daily, is reeling under a health crisis with limited medical facilities, shortage of oxygen and short supply of vaccines. Nepal is waiting for 1.7 million doses of the Covishield vaccine from the Serum Institute of India (SII) to vaccinate its population that has already received the first shot. Earlier this year, Nepal received 1 million doses of Covishield. Soon, the Nepal government procured another 1 million doses of Covishield on its own at a discounted rate from the Pune-based Serum Institute.More Related News
