The incident took place on March 22 and was reported the following morning when her body was found.
Linsulal was staying in a rented accommodation along with a friend. The deceased hailed from Luthuru village in Kiphire district, Nagaland.
Expressing doubts regarding the circumstances of Linsulal's death, her sister, Lashila, filed a complaint at Basavanahalli Police Station. In her complaint, Lashila raised suspicions about two individuals known to Linsulal at a resort spa where she worked.
The exact cause of death is yet to be determined. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the facts surrounding the incident.
Police officials have registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. The UDR is a document prepared by police following suspicious deaths, suicide, homicide or accidents.

The matter pertains to a petition filed by one Nikhil Kumar Punia, who was born into an upper-caste Hindu family but supposedly converted to Buddhism later. He, along with another General Category candidate, has sought minority reservation benefits for admission to a Buddhist medical college on grounds of their purported conversion.

Energy disruption due to the war in the Middle East has exposed India's dependence on imported gas. It has prompted a policy shift mandating a switch from LPG to piped natural gas (PNG) where available. With supply constraints looming, the government is fast-tracking pipelines and pushing a nationwide transition to strengthen energy security.
