Mumbai Police says stay indoors, remain healthy and fit in new post. Read here

India Today
Friday, April 09, 2021 11:47:23 AM UTC

On Thursday, the Mumbai Police shared a witty post to remind people about the updated Covid-19 guidelines.

The second wave of Covid-19 has made our lives even more difficult. People had adjusted their lifestyle according to the ‘new normal’ during the pandemic last year and started wearing masks outdoors. But now, the situation has turned grim once again due to the steep rise in cases in India. Gyms and offices are closed because your safety is at ‘core’.'Bench' your outdoor activity. Stay indoor, remain healthy and fit.#SafetyAtCore#TakingOnCorona pic.twitter.com/VSKPlM4q2M Why keep the safety limited only to gyms and office?Matchiswala Compound ,Stn Rd, Santacruz w shops illegally operating from residential premises, cannot be detected as are in remote, vending eatables without license, exposing resi to fatal viral threat! Is their safety unimportant? pic.twitter.com/fE1rNL3kOg At Matchiswala Compound, stn Rd,Santacruz w,amidst strict lockdown last year, shouted my lungs out of the violator operating under garb of vending eatables only to be snubbed by zonal ACP who did not even check his non existent license saying that was not his duty!kindlyinvestigate pic.twitter.com/5bhzGjiw1S Ultimate slimwell Gym, Pareirawadi, Sakinaka, Mumbai 72 is daily open from backside door.Mr. Rajendra Gomai is fearless & Beat 2 Sakinaka is not taking action. pic.twitter.com/nEaMfoNAWw Yes if govt employees are working and if corona not spreading then y shd we shut our shops and offices....we will also follow the policy let us work.....Why shd govt have all the fun..... Govt office working at 50%, when full staff they work 50%, imagine the situation now at govt office, any ways their salary come from tax payer like us but we are still under lockdown and being harassed at every moment time will surely come sir, sab ka time aayega Is it?gym is much more safer than the local trains n government buses.y don't u ppl stop tht first.the moment locals started n the very next week we cud listen to cases rising up.take actions on tht first rather taking it on such small activities where ppl keep themselves fit Wedding with 50 people is allowed but the same can't be applied to gym ? Gym is place where people try to build their health and maintain their IMMUNITY which is an essential factor in our fight against the virus , please allow the gyms to operate make fresh Sop's for gyms. The Indian strain of Covid-19 is strange. It affects people who attend gym's and office's, but not those who attend election rallies. It affects people at night, but not those who go out during the day.It affects people who don't wear mask, except politicians and VIPs Apparently the new strain has affected Maharashtra the most. And I believe @MumbaiPolice is urging Mumbaikars to follow the rules. And I don't see any political rallies or religious affairs happening around. We should co-operate, it's for our betterment. In a sincere attempt to contain the spread of the coronavirus, Mumbai Police shared a witty post on Thursday to remind people about the updated Covid-19 guidelines. The new guidelines have restricted the movement of people in public areas while exempting emergency responders. As per the new regulations, Mumbai Police also announced that schools and colleges will remain closed along with restaurants, bars, religious places, cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools, barber shops and spas.
