Actor Manchu Manoj confronts Bhakarapet police, accusing them of treating him like a terrorist, leading to a verbal altercation.
Actor Manchu Manoj had a verbal duel with the Bhakarapet police early on Tuesday, when the police personnel arrived at the resort where he was staying for the night.
Mr. Manoj, who has a running feud with his father and actor M. Mohan Babu, was staying in the resort on the outskirts of Bhakarapet village when the personnel from the local police station reportedly met him and sought to know the reason for his presence there.
Miffed at being quizzed ‘like a terrorist’, Mr. Manoj demanded to know why they were on his heels. Later, he squatted in front of the police station. The police explained to him that they had visited him just as his ‘admirers’. The actor left the spot in a huff, not before extending a warning that he would visit the station again on Wednesday.

The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday ordered the issue of a notice to the State government on a PIL petition, which had complained about disturbances caused to people residing in the localities around the National Public School situated in Rajajinagar 5th block due to use of loudspeakers with high volume in the school and parking of school buses in residential areas.
