Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief Nana Patole on Friday downplayed suggestions of rivalry between himself and Energy Minister Nitin Raut. Speaking in Pune, he said the party was preparing to contest the crucial Pune civic body polls next year on its own. His remarks came as Mr. Raut and Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat reached Delhi today to reportedly seek an audience with party chief Sonia Gandhi to settle the ‘problems’ plaguing the State unit.More Related News

The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday ordered the issue of a notice to the State government on a PIL petition, which had complained about disturbances caused to people residing in the localities around the National Public School situated in Rajajinagar 5th block due to use of loudspeakers with high volume in the school and parking of school buses in residential areas.
