Madras HC doesn't allow Dhanush to withdraw tax exemption plea for his Rolls-Royce

After Vijay, Dhanush's petition to seek entry tax exemption is met with a harsh reaction from Madras High Court. The judge slammed Dhanush for not paying entry tax for his imported Rolls-Royce car.

Following Vijay, Dhanush had filed a petition to seek entry tax exemption for his imported Rolls-Royce car from the UK in 2015. After Madras High Court came down heavily on actor Vijay for seeking entry tax exemption, Dhanush's lawyer wanted to withdraw the plea filed in 2015. The Madras High Court heard the case and refused to permit Dhanush to withdraw the plea.
