Vignesh Shivan's Love Insurance Kompany, featuring Pradeep Ranganathan, locks in a new theatrical release date. After multiple delays, the romantic sci-fi drama will hit theatres in April 2026.

After months of delays and date shuffles, clarity is finally in sight for Love Insurance Kompany (LIK). The Pradeep Ranganathan-starrer, directed by Vignesh Shivan, is now locked for a theatrical release on April 3, bringing much-needed relief to fans tracking its uncertain journey.

On Wednesday, the makers released a couple of brand-new posters to announce the release date. Vignesh Shivan wrote, "It’s going to be a very Good Friday. We all pray and manifest (sic)."

The film had initially been slated for a festive Diwali release on October 17, 2025. However, plans were revised to avoid a box office clash with Dude, which also featured Pradeep Ranganathan. A subsequent shift to December 2025 failed to hold, before the makers finally confirmed the April release date.

Love Insurance Kompany boasts a strong ensemble led by Pradeep alongside Krithi Shetty and SJ Suryah. The supporting cast includes names such as Gouri Kishan, Yogi Babu, Mysskin and Anandaraj, among others, blending seasoned performers with fresh talent.
