Director Aditya Dhar has apologised after paid previews of Dhurandhar: The Revenge faced widespread disruptions, with screenings delayed or cancelled across several parts of the country.
The film, headlined by Ranveer Singh, opened to chaos as technical glitches impacted show timings, particularly for its dubbed versions.
Addressing the situation, Dhar acknowledged the inconvenience caused to audiences and exhibitors. “We truly apologise for the inconvenience. Your love for this film means the world to us, and we cannot wait to share it with you (sic),” he wrote in a public statement shared on X.
While most Hindi screenings began rolling out from 5 pm as scheduled, the Tamil and Telugu versions were pushed to 9 pm. The Malayalam and Kannada versions faced further delays and were postponed to the following morning due to what the makers described as “unforeseen technical difficulties”.
