Kangana Ranaut has criticised Bollywood for its increasing vulgarity following the controversy over Nora Fatehi's song from KD – The Devil. She emphasised the need for stricter regulations to curb obscene content in films and music videos.
Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has reacted to the controversy surrounding a song, titled Sarse Ninna Seraga Sarse (Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke in Hindi), featuring Nora Fatehi from the upcoming film KD - The Devil. The track recently sparked backlash online over its allegedly vulgar and suggestive lyrics, prompting the makers to remove it from social media.
Speaking to ANI about the controversy, Ranaut criticised the film industry and called for stricter regulation regarding what she described as obscenity in films and music videos.
“Bollywood has crossed all limits with vulgarity, tactics, and attention-seeking. The entire country is condemning and reprimanding them. But I don't think they have any shame,” Ranaut said.
She further added that stricter measures may be needed to address such content. “There needs to be even more strictness about the display of such vulgarity and obscenity. I think some strict rein will have to be put on Bollywood,” she added.

The controversy began after the song featuring Fatehi was released on YouTube. Several social media users criticised the track’s lyrics and visuals, calling them “vulgar” and “inappropriate”. Following the backlash, the song was removed from the platform.
