LJP MPs join hands against Chirag Paswan

There has been no official comment from either Chirag Paswan, who has not been keeping well, or the rebel group so far.
The Lok Janshakti Party appears set for a split as five of its six Lok Sabha MPs are learnt to have joined hands to oust Chirag Paswan as their leader in the House by electing his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras in his place. A source said the group of MPs has conveyed their decision to the Lok Sabha Speaker. The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday ordered the issue of a notice to the State government on a PIL petition, which had complained about disturbances caused to people residing in the localities around the National Public School situated in Rajajinagar 5th block due to use of loudspeakers with high volume in the school and parking of school buses in residential areas.
