In a terrifying video that has gone viral on social media, a lioness attacked a trainer during a circus in Russia.

In a rather spine-chilling incident, a circus trainer was attacked by a lioness during a show in Russia as a horrific video of the incident went viral on social media. The audience was terrified as the lioness jumped upon the trainer, and clawed and sank her teeth into him. As soon as the lioness pounced upon trainer Maxim Orlov, along with other members of the staff, all of them made every attempt to fend off the animal with poles. However, owing to the attack, Maxim received several injuries that were treated in a hospital in Moshkovo, Novosibirsk region, Daily Mail reports. Watch the video here:
