Branch-2 of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) in Ballari on Monday unveiled a poster commemorating LIC’s entry into the Guinness Book of World Records for issuing 5,88,107 policies in a single day.
The event drew LIC staff, development officers, representatives and members of the public to celebrate the historic achievement.
After jointly unveiling the poster, Branch Manager Sampath Kumar and Assistant Branch Manager Gopal lauded LIC’s extraordinary feat and described the achievement as unmatched and a matter of national pride.
They urged all staff members to continue working with renewed energy and commitment to take LIC to even greater heights.
Secretary of the LIC Employees Union Surya Narayan addressed the gathering and emphasised the collective responsibility of employees to safeguard and support the institution in all circumstances.
He acknowledged the efforts of every officer, representative and staff member who contributed to this historic milestone.
The event was attended by Dattatreya, Vignesh, Shantakumari, Shashidhar and other representatives who expressed their pride and joy in LIC’s record-setting accomplishment.
